Home Improvement Assistance

Following significant housing damage caused by flooding in Putnam County, Putnam County Housing Corporation will be administering the NYS AHC Flood Assistance Program. This funding may only be used to address damage that occurred as a direct result of flooding and will be limited to emergency housing repairs necessary to make the home safe, sanitary and functional.

Putnam County Housing Corporation (PCHC) was incorporated in 1982 as a non-profit Rural Preservation Company (RPC). Over the last 40 years, PCHC has worked to address the diverse housing needs of Putnam residents including constructing 120 units of senior housing, 12 units of transitional and permanent housing and nearly $4 million in home improvements for county homeowners.
