The PCHC owns four complexes, Gleneida Court, Gleneida Senior Apartments, Lakeview Senior Apartments and Senior Housing at Mahopac Hills. There are a total of 120 units for seniors. There are income eligibility guidelines for the complexes.
Please be advised that there are long waiting lists for occupancy at all the complexes. Applicants are placed on the appropriate waiting lists according to date and time. When your name is reached, you will be notified by mail and/or telephone to come in for an interview.

Gleneida Court Apartments
     ***Opened June 1993, FULLY OCCUPIED***
Gleneida Court is a two-story complex 24 units. Each one-bedroom unit has a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with small dining area. There are no elevators in the three, garden-style, attached buildings. There is electric heat and hot water. The tenant pays for electric service, but receives a utility allowance to offset the costs.
Tenancy is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Income eligibility is as follows:
- One-person - $29,050
- Two-person - $33,200
Rent is subsidized. The $1.4 million construction costs for Gleneida Court was financed through Rural Development. The floor plan, pictures and the application are available throught the links below.

Gleneida Senior Apartments
     ***Opened February 1999, FULLY OCCUPIED***
Gleneida Senior Apartments is a two-story complex of 24 units with an elevator. Each one-bedroom unit has a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with a small dining area. Tenant pays electric. Natural gas heat
and hot water is provided by the landlord.
Tenancy is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Income eligibility is as follows:
- One-person - $29,300
- Two-person - $33,450
Rent is not subsidized. The $2.4 million construction costs for Gleneida Senior Apartments was financed through the New York State Housing Trust Fund and Low income tax credits. The floor plan, pictures and the application are available through the links below.
 
Lakeview Senior Apartments
     ***Opened October 2004, FULLY OCCUPIED***
The $3.4 million construction costs were financed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the HUD 202 Housing for the Elderly Program. The complex contains 24, one-bedroom units. The complex has an elevator, community room, television room and card room.
Tenancy is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Income eligibility is as follows:
- One-person - $29,050
- Two-person - $33,200
 
Senior Housing at Mahopac Hills
     ***Opened 2007, FULLY OCCUPIED***
The $8.2 million construction costs were financed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the HUD 202 Housing for the Elderly Program and the New York State HOME program. The complex consists of 48, one-bedroom units of subsidized housing for seniors. The complex also has an elevator.
Tenancy is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Income eligibility is as follows:
- One-person - $29,050
- Two-person - $33,200
